I cannot believe you actually clicked on the privacy notice, you NERD!

This site is a private wedding invitation, not a company. We only collect what we need for planning, and we pass on nothing that doesn't have to be passed on. Here is what that means, exactly.

Who's responsible

Alina and Finn, the couple. For questions about your data - or if you want it deleted - write to us at alinaandfinn@gmail.com.

What we get from you

Everything you enter in the RSVP form: your name and email address, whether you're replying just for yourself or for several people, your yes or no, who a decline covers, how many of you are coming and what those people are called and how to reach them, whether you need a place to sleep, how you're travelling, your song request and your message to us.

Only what's marked with an asterisk in the form is required - everything else you can leave empty.

What we use it for

Solely for planning this wedding: assigning beds, arranging tables, ordering food, keeping you informed in time. No advertising, no passing on to third parties for other purposes, no selling.

On what basis

Your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR - that's the checkbox at the end of the form. You can withdraw your consent at any time, informally, with effect for the future and without giving reasons.

Who else sees it

The site runs on Netlify (Netlify, Inc., USA), which is also where the form submissions are stored. Your data is therefore transferred to the USA. Netlify also logs what's technically necessary, such as IP addresses, when the site is accessed.

How long we keep it

Until the wedding is over and everything is settled, three months after it at the latest. Then we delete the submissions at Netlify. If you'd like to be deleted sooner, let us know.

What you can ask of us

To know what we've stored about you, to have wrong details corrected, deletion, restriction of processing, and a copy of your data in a portable format. You can also complain to a data protection supervisory authority. An email to us covers all of it.

The one cookie

This site is password-protected. When you enter the password, we set a cookie so you don't have to type it again on every visit - and that's all it contains: no name, no identifier, nothing that traces back to you. It expires after 180 days, stays on your device and isn't shared with anyone. The password protection doesn't work without this cookie, which is why we don't ask for consent for it.

What we don't do

Beyond that we set no cookies and embed no analytics or tracking services. The fonts live on our own server, so nothing is fetched from Google Fonts or a CDN. There is no embedded map.

The one exception: the link to Google Maps leads outside. Google only learns about it once you click it.
